What's Nonograver
Nonograms, also known as Picross, Griddlers or Hanjie, are pencil puzzles. Fill the cells using the numbers to the left of and above the grid as clues, and a picture emerges. You find a good one in a magazine and want to solve it on the train, in a waiting room, or in bed. But carrying the magazine is a chore, and you need a pencil and an eraser. And when you get stuck, you want just the next move, not the whole answer.

Nonograver is that app. Photograph a puzzle from a magazine or book, outline the clue numbers, and the numbers and colors are read into the app. The puzzle stays on your phone, so you can take it anywhere and pick up where you left off. When you get stuck, a hint tells you which cell can be determined logically from your current board, and which technique does it, one stage at a time.
